CVE-2025-62717Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via uncleared email verification code

Published Oct 24, 2025 · Updated Oct 24, 2025

Improper authentication in emlog 2.5.23 allows remote attackers to reuse a valid email verification code across protected actions. The checkMailCode function reads the mail_code session value but unsets the unrelated code value, leaving the validated mail code available for later checks. Exploitation requires a valid code in the same session and bypasses email-code freshness, with no reported confidentiality or availability impact.
