Cryptographic weakness in Sakai 23 before 23.5 and Sakai 25 before 25.0 allows remote attackers to decrypt protected data. EncryptionUtilityServiceImpl passes a RandomStringUtils value backed by java.util.Random to AES256TextEncryptor as serverSecretKey, enabling startup-time seed guesses. Exploitation requires obtained ciphertext and an approximate PRNG seed, and it exposes only data protected by this service.
