CVE-2025-62709Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via Host-poisoned password-reset links

Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025

Host-header poisoning in MacWarrior ClipBucket V5 5.5.2 before 5.5.2#162 allows remote attackers to take over accounts via reset links. When base_url is unset, network.class.php trusts the client-controlled Host value to build the server URL that forget.php embeds in password-reset email links. Exploitation requires knowledge of the victim's email address and victim interaction on the attacker-controlled site, which exposes the activation code needed to reset that account.
