Stored XSS via unsanitized system-message URL
Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Stored XSS in WikiLove 1.39 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers through a crafted system-message URL. The ext.wikiLove.core.js path assigns the wikilove-what-is-this-link message directly to an anchor href without restricting its URL scheme. Exploitation requires editinterface access to alter that message and a visitor to open the WikiLove dialog and activate the link.
