Low-privileged role escalation via project role change
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Incorrect permission assignment in AutomationDirect Productivity Suite allows local users to gain full control of a project. Published CISA and vendor materials do not identify the role-setting locus or the incorrect authorization operation that accepts the change. The user must already hold low-privileged project credentials; changing the assigned role then grants full control over project integrity and operation.
