CVE-2025-62669Network attack vector

Suppressed-block disclosure via unfiltered cross-wiki query

Published Oct 18, 2025 · Updated Oct 20, 2025

Information disclosure in Wikimedia Foundation CentralAuth before 1.39 allows remote authenticated users to infer suppressed cross-wiki blocks. CentralAuthUser::getBlocks() queries foreign-wiki block rows without filtering bl_deleted, so activeLocalBlocksAllWikis counts hidden targets. Access requires a logged-in account without suppress-block viewing rights; the exposed result reveals only that a hidden block exists.
