SQL injection via unescaped calendar date parameters
Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
SQL injection in Wikimedia Foundation Cargo 1.39, 1.43, and 1.44 allows remote authenticated users to alter queries via crafted URLs. Special:CargoExport reads the start and end URL parameters and interpolates them unescaped into raw SQL while producing fullcalendar output. Low-privilege access and passive user interaction are required; injected SQL can read or modify Cargo data or delay database operations.
