Cross-store file upload via unbound path signing
Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Restaurant Brands International Assistant through 2025-09-06 allows remote authenticated users to upload across stores. The platform returns a JWT that the upload API accepts while signing an attacker-selected AWS object path without verifying that the path belongs to the user's store. Low-privilege platform access is required, and exploitation permits cross-store file uploads without reported read access or service interruption.
