Stored XSS via unsanitized shortcode attributes
Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the Fleetwire plugin 1.0.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through fleetwire_list attributes. The fleetwire_list shortcode accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and emits them without output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; injected scripts execute whenever a user opens the affected page, enabling data access or page modification in that user's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
