CVE-2025-62599Network attack vector

Remote process termination via wrapped property length

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Denial of service in eProsima Fast DDS 3.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to terminate processes through a crafted SPDP packet. readPropertySeq multiplies an attacker-controlled token length by 16 in 32-bit arithmetic; wraparound bypasses the size check, and properties.resize requests an excessive allocation. Exploitation requires DDS Security and receipt of the malicious discovery DATA submessage; the bounded consequence is OOM process termination, not data access or modification.
