Reflected XSS via unneutralized action parameter
Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.5.1 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser through the action parameter. The editar_info_pessoal.php endpoint returns crafted action input in its HTML response without neutralizing script-related characters. Exploitation requires a browser to render the crafted response; the script then runs in the WeGIA origin with that browser session's privileges.
