Reflected script execution via unsafe GET serialization
Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.5.1 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser through the sql query parameter. The editar_info_pessoal.php endpoint serialized the complete GET map with json_encode and returned it without neutralizing script-breaking markup; the patch removes that response. Exploitation requires a victim to load an attacker-crafted URL, after which script runs in the application's browser origin and can read or modify data accessible to that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
