Code execution via PAR file buffer overflow
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Delta Electronics ASDA-Soft 7.0.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious PAR file. The PAR parser copies user-supplied data into a stack buffer without validating its length. Exploitation requires the user to open the file, and code runs in the context of the ASDA-Soft process.
