Untrusted pointer dereference in Microsoft Windows RRAS allows remote attackers to execute code after a user connects to a malicious server. RRAS treats attacker-controlled data returned by that server as a pointer and dereferences it; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected function or protocol message. Exploitation needs no prior access, but a user must initiate the connection, after which code runs in the affected RRAS process.
