Unauthenticated file read via public template endpoint
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file read in UiCore Elements 1.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files through a public REST endpoint. The UiCoreElements REST_API prepare_template route grants public access and passes attacker-supplied template image paths to Elementor's importer, which copies the referenced file into an uploaded image. No authentication or user interaction is required, and disclosed server files can contain sensitive configuration data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
