Cross-origin API requests via reflected Origin header
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
CORS misconfiguration in THM-Health PILOS before 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to send cross-origin API requests through a malicious site. The global Laravel HandleCors middleware reflects the unvalidated Origin header into Access-Control-Allow-Origin while allowing credentials. A victim must visit an attacker-controlled origin, and Laravel session-origin checks prevent authentication by default, so typical deployments expose no demonstrated data access or state change.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
