Authenticated disclosure via unchecked source-project copy
Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Improper authorization in MantisBT before 2.27.2 allows remote authenticated users to read private project column configurations. The Copy From path in manage_columns_copy.php validates destination access but omits the MANAGER-level check for the selected source project. Access to manage_config_columns_page.php, typically held by project managers, is required; the flaw exposes configuration data but cannot alter it.
