Unauthenticated code execution via Flight pickle deserialization
Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
Unsafe deserialization in marsupialtail Quokka 0.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through Flight actions. FlightServer.do_action passes the set_configs action body directly to pickle.loads, which invokes attacker-selected reduction callables; do_put, do_get, and cache_garbage_collect contain similar sinks. Exploitation requires a running FlightServer reachable over the network, such as one bound to 0.0.0.0, and yields code execution in the server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
