Stored script injection via forged campaign update
Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in ValvePress WordPress Automatic Plugin 3.118.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. An undisclosed campaign-update function omits or incorrectly performs WordPress nonce validation and accepts attacker-chosen script content. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to act on a forged request, after which injected scripts execute for subsequent visitors.
