Administrator-level code execution via unsanitized update type
Published Oct 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 20, 2025
PHP code injection in MacWarrior ClipBucket V5 5.5.3 #79 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side code. The update_launch.php action inserts the POST type value into a PHP-tagged string that shell_exec evaluates without sanitization. Administrator access is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands with the web server process's privileges.
