CVE-2025-6242Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated internal network access via unrestricted media URLs

Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025

SSRF in Red Hat AI Inference Server and Enterprise Linux AI allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services via media URLs. MediaConnector.load_from_url and load_from_url_async pass user-supplied HTTP(S) targets to the connection layer without restricting destination hosts. Low-privileged network access to a multimodal inference endpoint is required; requests originate from the server and can scan or interact with otherwise unreachable internal services.
