Spreadsheet formula execution via unescaped CSV fields
Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025
CSV formula injection in Webkul Bagisto before 2.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to plant formulas in exported product data. The DataGrid CSV export path emits user-controlled product fields beginning with =, +, -, or @ without neutralization, so spreadsheets treat them as formulas. Exploitation requires product-data access and a victim opening the export; evaluation can exfiltrate data or execute commands with susceptible spreadsheet behavior.
