Administrator stored XSS via unescaped transport names

Published Oct 16, 2025 · Updated Oct 16, 2025

Stored XSS in LibreNMS before 25.10.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute JavaScript in admin browsers. The print-alert-rules.php view inserts database-sourced transport names into link text and data-content attributes without HTML escaping. An administrator must save the crafted name, and execution occurs when an administrator opens the Alert Rules page.
