CVE-2025-6238Network attack vector

OAuth token theft via unvalidated redirect URI

Published Jul 4, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025

Open redirect in AI Engine 2.8.4 allows remote attackers to steal OAuth access tokens through a crafted authorization request. The OAuth authorization flow accepts redirect_uri without validating it against an approved callback and sends the authorization code to that address. A WordPress user must interact with and authorize the request; the resulting code can be exchanged for an access token.
