CVE-2025-62374Network attack vector

Code execution via unchecked prototype keys

Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025

Prototype pollution in Parse JavaScript SDK before 7.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through crafted object data. ParseObject.fromJSON, pin, registerSubclass, ObjectStateMutations, and encode/decode copy attacker-controlled keys into ordinary objects without rejecting proto, constructor, or prototype paths. Execution depends on a consuming application passing malicious data into an affected API; the polluted prototype can cross the SDK security scope and disrupt service or expose data.
