Cleartext transmission in HCL AION 2.1.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept backend service details over HTTP. HCL has not disclosed the affected component, the backend fields exposed, or the operation that chooses cleartext HTTP instead of a protected transport. Reaching the flaw requires adjacent-network access, low privileges, user interaction, and a high-complexity interception condition.
