Resource modification via race condition
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Race condition in HCL IntelliOps Event Management 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to modify resources via concurrent requests. HCL has disclosed only that a timing window lets unsynchronized operations act on a shared resource after attacker-driven modification; no affected component, endpoint, or code path is public. The published CVSS vector sets PR:N and UI:N, so no authentication or user interaction is required, and the disclosed impact is limited to integrity changes and resulting unpredictable behavior rather than data disclosure or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
