Local database modification via SQL injection

Published Jul 17, 2025 · Updated Aug 18, 2025

SQL injection in Lenovo Vantage before 10.2501.20.0 and Commercial Vantage before 20.2506.39.0 allows local users to alter SQLite data. Lenovo has not disclosed the vulnerable component or the input path that reaches SQLite; the published record states only that injected input executes limited SQLite commands. Local low-privileged access is required, and the reported consequence is limited to modifying the local database and executing SQLite commands rather than arbitrary operating-system code.
