CVE-2025-62275Network attack vector

Unauthenticated image disclosure via missing permission check

Published Nov 1, 2025 · Updated Nov 1, 2025

Incorrect authorization in Liferay Portal and DXP Blogs allows remote attackers to view restricted blog-entry images via crafted URLs. The Blogs image-serving path retrieves an image referenced by a blog entry without checking whether the requester has permission to view that image. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to image confidentiality, with no reported content modification or service interruption.
