CVE-2025-62266Network attack vector

Open redirect via IP-based destination validation

Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025

Open redirect in Liferay Portal 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.119 and affected DXP releases allows remote attackers to redirect users externally. The default IP-based Redirect URLs security mode validates a destination by its resolved address, so DNS rebinding can change the address after validation and bypass the redirect allowlist. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to follow the resulting redirect; affected DXP lines are 2023.Q3.1 through 2023.Q3.10, 2023.Q4.0 through 2023.Q4.10, 2024.Q1.1 through 2024.Q1.5, and 7.4 GA through update 92.
