Stored XSS in the Blogs widget in Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP allows remote authenticated users to execute script in readers' browsers. The widget accepts an iframe in a blog entry's Content field and renders it without a sandbox attribute, letting frame scripts and links access the parent page. A user with permission to create blog entries must store the crafted iframe, and another user must view the entry for confidentiality and integrity impact.
