Password recovery via distinguishable locked-account exceptions

Password enumeration in Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP allows remote attackers to recover locked users' passwords by brute force. In AuthenticatedSessionManagerImpl, a correct password for a locked account triggers UserLockoutException, while an incorrect password triggers AuthException, creating a response oracle. Unauthenticated network access to the login flow and an enabled lockout policy are sufficient; repeated comparisons disclose a valid password without unlocking the account.
