OpenAPI YAML disclosure via unfiltered forwarded requests
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Authentication bypass in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote attackers to read an OpenAPI YAML file through a crafted URL. AuthVerifierFilterTracker omitted the FORWARD dispatcher needed when I18nServlet forwarded a request, so the YAML handler ran without the intended authorization check. No account is required on affected releases; exposure is limited to API-schema disclosure, with no reported data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
