CVE-2025-62250Network attack vector

Trusted-data injection via unauthenticated cluster messages

Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Improper authentication in Liferay Portal and DXP allows remote attackers to inject trusted data through unauthenticated cluster messages. The cluster messaging component fails to verify a message's origin before accepting attacker-supplied contents as trusted. Reachability requires access to the cluster-message network; published impact is limited to disclosure and modification of application data.
