Stored XSS via unescaped account name
Published Oct 10, 2025 · Updated Oct 10, 2025
Stored XSS in Liferay Portal 7.4.3.8 through 7.4.3.111 and affected DXP releases allows remote authenticated users to inject script. The Commerce order view writes Account Name directly into a JSP response without HtmlUtil.escape, causing stored markup to execute when a user views the order. Account-modification privileges and a viewing user are required; successful exploitation reads or changes browser-accessible data in that user's session.
