Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via missing validation
Published Jul 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in WP Swings Return Refund and Exchange For WooCommerce 3.2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to store arbitrary files. The ced_rnx_order_exchange_attach_files function accepts exchange-request attachments without validating their file types before storing them on the server. No authentication is required; an executable upload yields remote code execution when the web server processes the stored file as code.
