Command injection in Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 version 17.14 before 17.14.17 allows local users to execute code through crafted input. The product fails to neutralize special elements before incorporating attacker-controlled input into a command, but Microsoft has not disclosed the affected component or command-construction path. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, high-complexity conditions, and user interaction; successful exploitation executes attacker-chosen code on the workstation.
