Administrator code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Jun 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Themefic Ultra Addons for Contact Form 7 3.5.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP. The save_options function trusts a client-supplied application/octet-stream MIME type and moves the original filename into the web-accessible wp-content/uploads/itinerary-fonts directory. Administrator-level WordPress access is required; a PHP web shell placed there executes commands with the web server's privileges.
