Firmware compromise via attacker-controlled signing-table offsets

Firmware signature verification in Supermicro X13SEM-F BMC firmware 01.03.47 and 01.04.15 allows remote authenticated users to run custom firmware. The auth_bmc_sig function trusts attacker-controlled sig_table offsets when selecting regions for SHA-512 verification, so modified kernel bytes can be excluded while relocated originals satisfy the signed digest. Exploitation requires BMC administrator privileges or convincing an administrator to upload the image; successful boot executes a customized BMC Linux kernel and can persist across BMC reboots.
