Process-memory disclosure via unchecked EMF description offset
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity for Windows before 3.1.0 allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted EMF file. The EMR_HEADER parser trusts the file-controlled offDescription offset without sufficient bounds validation and reads beyond the EMF record. The attacker needs a user to open the file, and the reported consequence is arbitrary process-memory disclosure rather than data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
