Information disclosure via unchecked EMF point count
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity before 3.1.0 allows context-dependent attackers to read process memory via a crafted EMF file. The libpersona EMF loader trusts the EMR_POLYBEZIER Count field and iterates over the aPoints array even when its computed size exceeds recordSize. Exploitation requires a Windows user to open the malicious file; the over-read can expose arbitrary process memory and can also terminate the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
