Flight-safety data manipulation via unauthenticated admin panel
Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Missing authentication in Radiometrics VizAir before 08/2025 allows remote attackers to access its network admin panel and alter weather data. The admin panel accepts configuration-changing network requests without verifying an authenticated administrative session. Network reachability alone permits changes to wind-shear alerts, inversion depth, CAPE values, or runway assignments, enabling false or disabled flight-safety guidance.
