CVE-2025-61941Network attack vector

Administrative OS command execution via path traversal

Published Oct 15, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

Path traversal in BUFFALO INC. WXR9300BE6P series firmware before 1.10 allows remote authenticated users to alter arbitrary files. The administrative settings interface permits a supplied path to escape its intended directory and overwrite files, but BUFFALO INC. has not disclosed the affected handler. Administrative access to the settings interface is required, and altering a command-relevant file enables arbitrary OS command execution.
