Database access via shared SQL Server account
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 9, 2025
Client-side authentication in Mirion Medical BioDose/NMIS 22.02 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access database data. The client checks each user's password, but every client connects to SQL Server through the same database account with continuing underlying access. Possession of low-privileged application access and the shared database credentials permits direct reading or modification of clinical records.
