CVE-2025-61935Network attack vector

Unauthenticated service interruption via bd process termination

Published Oct 15, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP allows remote attackers to terminate the bd process by sending crafted requests to a protected virtual server. F5 identifies an unchecked return value but has not disclosed the request form, affected code locus, or failed operation that causes termination. Exposure requires an Advanced WAF or ASM security policy on the targeted virtual server, and the documented consequence is interruption of application-security processing.
