CVE-2025-61914Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsandboxed webhook HTML response

Published Dec 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 26, 2025

Stored XSS in n8n before 1.114.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in the editor through a Respond to Webhook node. The node returns attacker-controlled executable HTML in the top-level editor window instead of containing it within the iframe sandbox. Workflow-creation permission and a victim viewing the response are required; script execution can read or alter workflow data through the victim's session.
