Code execution via out-of-bounds link-data read
Published Oct 10, 2025 · Updated Oct 10, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in V-SFT 6.2.7.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code by opening a crafted V-SFT file. The VS6ComFile!load_link_inf routine reads beyond the bounds of file-derived data while parsing link information. A user must open the malicious file locally; successful exploitation can disclose process memory, crash the application, or run code in its context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
