Administrative arbitrary file-system write
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025
Improper input validation in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.4 and earlier, 2023.16 and earlier, and 2021.22 and earlier allows attackers to write files. Adobe has not disclosed the affected component or the input-validation error that permits attacker-controlled content to be written to arbitrary file-system locations. Exploitation requires administrative privileges and adjacent-network access; the resulting write can place malicious files outside intended directories.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
