Arbitrary code execution via malicious file parsing
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe InCopy 20.5, 19.5.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the exact unchecked operation that overwrites heap memory while processing the file. A victim must open the file; successful exploitation runs code in the context of the current user, limiting access to that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
