Arbitrary file read via external entity resolution
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2026
XML external entity injection in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.4, 2023.16, and 2021.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files. Adobe has not disclosed the affected XML-processing component or the operation that permits external entity resolution against attacker-controlled XML. Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
